At the heart of the Earth’s crust, the blood of mountains can carry high concentrations of very specific elements. Rapid cooling of this substance known as felsic lava leads to the formation of Obsidian. But other circumstances can lead to the formation of countless minerals, each with its own properties, chemical structure and identity.

They are all, in one way or another, bound to the mountain… and to the mountain they will return.
